Diethelm Löckenhoff

Born in Wuppertal and owner of Master of Horse Management and Agriculture from university of XX. He has over the years taken over the old family farm, which once housed dairy cattle, and modernised it to the modern riding facility it is today with over 100 livery, breeding and sales horses. With great passion, Diethelm is there around the clock for customers and horses. Furthermore, the chairman of the Velbert-Heiligenhaus riding association.

Elke Buddenberg

Studied 1980-1983 'Pferdewirtin/Haltung' (Breeding) with emphasis on riding in the Westphalian Equestrian Center in Münster Handorf

1983-1986 working as a professional trainer in Handorf (training of sales horses as well as presentation for auctions and 30 day stallion tests)

6-month working period abroad

1991 completion of Master of horse management and riding instruction ('Pferdewirtschaftsmeister / Teilbereich Reitausbildung')

Working 11 years as an professional trainer with Thomas Schmitz in Velbert

Elke Buddenberg has been living and working independently at our property  since 2004.

Elke is a long-standing and loyal member of our team of instructors. She is 100% dedicated to her clients and horses around the clock. As well as teaching all levels of riding until the top levels, she also offers competition participation and support.

Elke herself says: "the calm, careful training of horses and riders entrusted to me especially important, so that the owners can enjoy and handle their horses easily."

This sentence describes well Elke's daily work and personality, which is characterized by great reliability, years of experience, professional knowledge and unconditional love for horses.

Walburga 'Pucki' Thomas

Education as trainer with Reitmeister Fritz Tempelmann

Working at Reitmeister Ernst Bachinger (Head of the Riding School) in Vienna 

Dressage instructor until Grand Prix level

Owner of the german 'Goldenen Reitabzeichens'

Owner of the 'Sankt Georg Plakette' (awarded by the National Association for Special Merit as an Instructor)

Pucki Thomas has been working many years as an independent trainer at our property. 

Pucki takes care of her many clients with full-time training, regular instruction, competition preparation and support.

She enriches our team with her incredible knowledge through many years of experience in dealing with horses. She herself has a successful career in the competition sport, but has also coached successful students up to the German and European dressage championships.

Jennifer Mieves

Education as trainer 2009-2010at Inge Wolters / Andrea Timpen (Velbert-Hattingen) 

Since 2012 employed at Reitanlage Löckenhoff

Jenny is responsible for the training and competition presentation of both the clients and sales horses. Her tasks also include qualified teaching and competition support.

Jenny's steady and concentrated work ethic with the horses is highly appreciated by us and our clients, as well as her continuously positive charisma, reliability, pronounced team spirit and the exemplary behavior in dealing with the clients.
